Excited!!

Hola amigos! We have just been so busy playing with all of our new toys and eating all of our new treats, we almost forgot that we even had a blog! We have had soo much exciting stuff going on. Katie and Kelly came over last week, dad played with us all day yesterday, AND mom said she doesn't have to work tomorrow OR Friday! YESSSS! This is so wonderful. We can help her clean the house and go on lots of walks and snuggle. Maybe there will be an NCIS marathon on again. Lola has a huge crush on Gibbs. (So does mom, but she won't admit it) Also, our uncle Brad is coming to see us next week! And it's dad's birthday! Wowzers.... we need to get him a present. We don't know what to do with all of this excitement. Maybe take a nap (Lola's idea).

Anyway, we need to prepare for our next few days.

Peace out!
Doby & Lola

Santa Claus is comin' to town...

We were informed by our good friends, Katie & Kelly, that we are supposed to write a letter to Santa asking for toys and then he leaves them under our tree on Christmas. Mrs. Elizabeth told us that we have to be reallllllly good this week and we will for sure get some goodies!

Here is our letter to Santa. It's just our rough draft, we would love to hear about any new toys that we may have not heard of before.

Dear Santa Paws,
We have been super good this year. Well, except for a couple times, but we can explain all of that later. We definitely promise to be super good next year. This year could be like a "pay it forward" year. Just in case you are feeling generous, we are going to go ahead and leave some requests.
First off, we would really love some new food bowls. It gets really boring looking at the same ol' plastic bowls all the time.
We would also like some new toys- we heard about some that have treats inside of them and also some that make noise. Both sound rather enjoyable. Also, mom & dad never buy us any toys that we can destroy (like ropes or anything with fabric). We would really like to have some destroy-able toys.
Also, some big treats would be great. We prefer the beef flavored, but we'll let you decide what you think is best.
New harnesses and leashes. We are so last season with the ones we have now. An update would be great. Mom & dad always get us the step-in kind so we can't pull as much, but we promise not to pull if you get us something more stylish.
And last, but not least, we would really like to unlimited access to outside. We love it out there but for some reason, we can't go out whenever we want. (that's where those ugly harnesses come in)
With mucho love,
Doby & Lola

P.S. from Lola- Doby has been much worse than me. If you want to bring more pink toys than blue toys, that would be ok.

Christmas

Hey, Lola here. I'm in a bit of a situation here. Mom and dad and even Doby are running around like crazy people talking about something called Christmas. I wasn't here last year for Christmas and I have no idea what is going on. So far, all I can tell, is that we change the decorations in the house and put a bunch of trees in here. They are really cramping my style. There are also some red socks hanging on the TV center that I would really love to sink my teeth into. Doby said that Christmas is super-fun, but I just don't see it yet. I do like the snowman lights that blink and sing, though. Mom and dad brought home some new "tree topper" last night. It's a big mouse dressed in a red suit with a bunch of boxes. They went some place called "Disney World" this weekend and that's what they brought back. (I won't even get into how they brought nothing back for the puppies)

Anyway, I'm still trying to figure out this Christmas stuff. I don't even know when Christmas is. Hopefully, this will sort itself out soon and we can get all these trees out of the house.

-Utterly Confused, Lola-
