News

So, all weekend mom and dad keep talking about something called "moving". We aren't sure what exactly that is yet. But they keep saying we are moving somewhere else and we are going to love it! They do know us really well, so we will trust their judgement. I hope moving includes A LOT of treats.

We have been feeling very philosophical lately. We have come up with some more ism's for everyone.

Jailbreak Update

After much thought, we haven't come up with any super-great plans. Mom & dad moved Doby's cage away from his hole in the floor, and no matter where Lola tries to hide, the parentals catch her. To little avail, we have started to chew on the actual cages. Maybe we can weaken the structure and break through them. Will keep you posted.

Also, to answer some questions... YES, they lock us up SEPARATELY every time they leave the house, unless it's only for a couple minutes. We try not chewing everything up to see if they will let us stay out, but we always end up giving into the temptation. Don't hate our parents, even though they aren't very cool about their house being chewed up.

Jailbreak

Every time mom and dad go out, they lock us in our cages so we don't destroy everything. We really hate it. So, we have been talking and we think we have come up with a jailbreak plan. Well actually we have come up with a few and they have all failed. Doby tried to chew through the floor, Lola has tried to just look pitiful so that mom and dad won't lock us up to being with. All with no avail.

We'll keep you guys updated. Wish us luck!

Healthcare

If all the humans have to have free healthcare, will all the puppies have it too? Work on that Bo...

Trouble... again

Mom & dad make us wear harnesses when we go on walks because we pull so hard and they think it hurts our throats. But I like to wear my collar. It is more free! And what dog doesn't like to be free!? So, I try to tell mom and dad this every time we get ready to go for a walk. When they get my harness, I run away and hide so they can't put it on me. Last night, mom got really mad, because she doesn't like chasing me and wouldn't take me outside. She was also mad 'cause I chewed the carpet. Meanwhile, Lola was just livin' it up. She got to go outside and run and then she got a treat and extra snuggles. I had to work really hard so mom wouldn't be mad at me anymore. I think I was successful, but who knows with her. She's crazy!

Either way, I'm still stuck wearing my harness mom says. Maybe, I'll chew it up... again.

Doby's Dogtionary

I haven't added any words to my dogtionary lately. Here are some words I have figured out recently.

iPhone- small box that glows. mom is always poking it. makes funny noises and you can talk into it.

Oven- when it is being opened you shouldn't go near it, it will eat you.

Lately...

We have been SO busy lately, we haven't had much computer time. Mom has been running around like a crazy woman... something about school and different trips and birthday plans... we aren't really sure. Still trying to figure it out. We have been really busy catching up on naps this weekend. Mom was out of town Friday so we got tons of napping then, on Saturday mom had to run errands, so... more naps, and Sunday mom stayed home and napped with us. We don't like that, though, cause she hogs the bed... but we love her anyway. Doby always tries to snuggle up with mom... what a suck up! Today mom and dad are going somewhere else all night, so I'm sure we will get MORE naps. It has been nap-central around here.

In other news, mom's birthday is Saturday. We gotta have dad help us find a good present. We don't know what we are going to get her, but it will be WONDERFUL! We are really good present-picker-outers.

Mom also starts back to school on Saturday. We hate school. That basically means that mom has to go away at night and be somewhere else and then she gets home and the next day she has all these books and papers (which we aren't allowed to chew up) and she is zero fun. We try and help her do her work, but she doesn't seem to appreciate it.

Not much else going on.

Every time we fight over a toy mom always yells, "you guys need to share." Until now, we had no idea what that meant. She still says it ALL THE TIME! But yesterday, we were both laying in bed and we were both chewing on different toys (note from mom: those of you that know the pups, know this is amazing!!). She seemed really excited about it for some reason. We fight over the toys a lot, but it is super fun.

Glad we could make mom happy for one day. She better have enjoyed it, it probably won't happen again.

Mom spelled "birthday" wrong on our cake... classic. It still tasted REALLY good though.

See, our party was pretty wonderful. We were SO tired when it was over. We got TONS of presents. Thanks everyone!!!

PAWTY TONIGHT!!!

We are having our birthday pawty tonight! A couple of our friends are coming over when mom gets off work. We smelled her baking the cake last night. It is going to be so much fun!! She got us birthday crowns to wear, too. Lola just wants to wear hers as part of her everyday attire. (What a priss!)

We already got a few of our presents on Saturday. Grandma & Grandpa came over and brought us a new toy, but mom and dad keep taking it away because we fight over it... a lot. Doby also got his new harness. Lola's present isn't here, yet so she will have to wait. Her birthday isn't technically until Thursday anyway.

Mom is going to post a bunch of pictures of us and all our presents after the party tonight.

No Party!!

So, mom didn't have me a birthday party yet. She said that we could do it Saturday. I don't know when that is, but I hope it is soon. We did a 1 year photo shoot yesterday. Here are some of the pics. Don't I look so distinguished??

Today is my birthday!

The Weekend is Over

Yet again, the weekend ends. (Rhyming...yet another service offered here at dobyandlola.com)
This weekend was pretty busy for us. Mom & dad had their anniversary. We aren't sure what that is, but basically, they went out and ate some food. That seems the same as every other weekend to us. But ANYWAY, Saturday we slept in for awhile. Well actually, we got up and played really early and mom & dad weren't too happy about it so we went back to sleep with them. Then, we went on a long walk and that was about it. On Sunday our uncle Daniel came over to play with us. We weren't sure who he was at first. We haven't seen him in a long time and mom wasn't there to explain to us. That was about it for our weekend. Maybe it wasn't so busy after all.
