Two Peas in a Pod

Mom is always saying that we are "two peas in a pod." Well we don't know what peas and pods are, but we sure do like hanging out together and chewing on toys together. This is a picture of us with some new toys mom got us. She already threw them away though, because we destroyed them too much. Better that than the sofa! :) Anyway, gotta go and take a nap. It's a hard life for us dogs.

What A Wonderful Day

Oh man oh man! Today was so great. Dad didn't have to work, so we got to go on a loooooong walk and play and nap and stuff. The walk we went on was so great. Except that Doby got a little tired. He needed some water so dad had to carry him for a little while (note from Lola: hahahah). Sorry we haven't posted in a couple days. We are some busy puppies. Well more lazy than busy. Anyway, now you have heard the great things we have to say.

We watched mom work out tonight. We aren't sure why she is doing that. Maybe to lose some weight. I wonder if we need to work out too.

Super Sunday

We love Sundays. Mom stays home with us for the afternoon and we get to lay around and play and do whatever. She usually falls asleep so we can do whatever we want and she doesn't know. :) That is the real reason we love it so much.

It was storming this morning and thundering a lot. We kept barking at it to make sure mom and dad knew that it was thundering. We don't think they appreciated it a lot... not sure why. We weren't sure if they could hear it as good as us. We are really just being helpful.

Well we gotta go. Mom is almost asleep and there is a towel laying on the floor we want to chew up.

A Note from Doby

Dear fans,

There are a few things I have noticed that need addressing here on this blog that Lola has posted. First of all, I am NOT annoying. I am one pretty hot dog! Most people like me or atleast think I am funny and/or cute. Secondly, her advice is bogus. None of that stuff will work. If you want GOOD advice, you should ask me. I am one smart dog. A lot smarter than Lola.

On a lighter note... we have had some fun today. Mom took us for a walk and we splashed in the puddles. Katie came over for awhile today and played with us, but not Kelly. We aren't sure where she was. We will post a picture of Katie tomorrow. We are too tired to figure all that out now and we need mom's help and she is in bed already.

Well, got to go. I'm sure there is something around for me to destroy.

Dear Beauty Queen,
My brother is just like yours. He seems to have endless energy. I love to just lay around and rest and he seems to always want to play and chase eachother and wrestle. I have become very good at ignoring him. Sometimes he bites my ears and legs and the better you are at pretending he isn't there, the sooner he will give up. Occasionally, he will hit me with one of my favorite toys. Then it's on like Donkey Kong! You should never let your brother think he can beat you. After a couple minutes of me beating him up, he usually just goes and plays by himself, leaving me to my beauty sleep.

Rainy Day

Grandma's House

Tonight we went to Grandma's house for dinner. We wore some of our new clothes, but mom didn't take any pictures. We also had to use our new seat-belts in the car! They were not fun because we couldn't jump around. But mom said it was to keep us safe, so I guess that is ok. We played with Bubbles some but she isn't very playful so she went upstairs to take a nap for awhile while we were there. We had so much fun, but now we are tired. Mom said that we will sleep good tonight. We sleep good every night though. It is just her that doesn't sleep. Except when she makes us move while we are nice and comfortable. She always says, "Why do you guys have to most room when you are the smallest?" We do because we push her and she moves over. Why wouldn't we want the extra room? Silly parents.

So, mom and dad are at work. They have been there the WHOLE day pretty much. They expect us to just sit in our cages and wait and wait for them to get home. Well, no thank you. We have busted out and decided to surf the web. Hopefully mom and dad don't see this. They may get mad that we have been able to fool them so long. They are pretty gullible, they also think we don't know how to use the computer. Obviously, that isn't true. Well, we are going to run around now and maybe chew some furniture... we mean toys.

Lola and clothes

Some dogs don't like clothes. But I love them. I guess I am just like my mom. In the mornings I go in her closet and wait so I can help her pick out her outfit for the day. She always looks so cool. I'm glad she has gotten me some new clothes to expand my wardrobe. Although, some of the dresses are a little tight. Maybe I need to lose some weight. Or mom just needs to learn how to measure better. Probably the second one. I am the princess and I can be whatever size I want. Gotta go beat up Doby (he doesn't think I am royalty). I'm sure your dog friend isn't being unfaithful. He probably just needs a bath and some flea medication. Convince his humans to do this for him. If the fleas persist then maybe you should investigate further. That or call animal control.

Today

Mom has been home sick today so we have been taking care of her all day. We are so good at it. We sleep with her and give her kisses. And she has given us lots of treats. Dad came home for lunch and that was fun too. We have to go back to sleep now. We only have 12 of our 16 hours of sleep that we normally have in a day.

The Window

Best place in the house? ... THE WINDOW! It is better than any tv show or anything. We can see pretty much the entire world from on top of the couch. We have a very interesting neighborhood to look at. Plus, someone has to warn mom and dad everytime somebody gets out of their car. There is not much better than sitting and looking out the window.

The Beach

Today we went to the beach. It was SO great. Lola loved playing in the water but Doby didn't like it too much. We liked laying on the towels and chewing on our toys together too. We can't wait to go back. The only bad part is that we had to take a bath when we got home!! We are still pretty tired. Also, Lola wants to wear her new bathing suit next time. She says that it makes her look thinner.

Mom also told us that our friend Kelly is in the hospital. We really wanted to go and see her, but the hospital doesn't allow dogs. We aren't sure why. That is dumb. We are going to make her a card or something instead so mom can take it to her. We love you Kelly!

Some new clothes

Mom got us some new outfits this weekend. Here are some pictures of them. Aren't they SO cute?! We really like them. This weekend has been pretty fun since dad was off work. We may go to the beach tomorrow after church. That will be SUPER fun. I'm sure mom will take TONS of pictures. Anyway, gotta go chew on our new toys. Toodaloo!

So, Lola threw up on the bed this morning... again. Don't worry, I licked it up so she wouldn't feel bad. She has been hogging dad's lap ALL morning though. She is in for it tonight...

Swine Flu

Swine Flu seems to be the hip and trendy thing right now. It used to be the Bird Flu and before that Mad Cow. We were just wondering when the Dog Flu was going to get its chance. We would like to be popular for awhile.

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Hello world (or the 4 of you that read this)! Happy Cinco de Mayo!! We did NOT have a party. Mom is too busy. That's ok though. Let's see what did we do today... Played with dad, ate some poop, chewed on the towels in our cages, ran across the street (mom always panics), and ate some food, too. We were up pretty early in the morning (note from mom: try 4 AM!!!) so we took a lot of naps today. We also helped mom on her computer. We took some pictures to prove it! We are such great helpers. Mom must just love it! :) That's about all for today.

Saturdays

Oh man, we LOVE Saturdays. Well, most of the time. This Saturday we decided to get mom and dad up extra early and try to play. They didn't respond very well to that, so eventually we gave up and played by ourselves so they could sleep (they don't really get as many naps as us anyway). THEN, Katie, Kelly, and Harrison came over. That was so much fun! We love seeing them. After that we took a looooong nap and ate some treats. Since that we've had dinner and been on, not one, but TWO walks. Mom is so fun! She loves to take us on walks. Now we are just relaxing. Like we said, Saturdays rock!

These are some of our best friends Katie and Kelly. Today we wrote our first email to Kelly because she did so good in her art project. They are always writing us notes and we always try to write them back. This is a really old picture. It was taken before Lola was even around. And look how little Doby is. Anyway, we can't wait for them to come over again. We love them SOOO much. Anyway, other interesting things going on... We went on a walk with mom today when she got home from work. She always takes us on Fridays because she gets home early (YAY!). We love it so much. But now we have to go. There are many people we should be barking at through the window in the living room.
